- Break bulk cargo can accommodate items beyond container capacity like for example heavy and oversized machinery can’t fit inside a standard-sized container so it needs an operation called deconstruction and reconstruction which means each part need to be dismantled to fit each part in a container and ship them separately because you can’t ship them as a whole unit and once arrived at the distention then those parts will be assembled again. With that being said, deconstruction and reconstruction will cost time, money and extra equipment.
